Flower Hiking Trail
A special feature of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal is the extraordinary variety of plants on the "Hahnenkopf" in Faschina, which have developed due to the geological conditions in this area.
Up here, at this wonderful place with panoramic views, the Faschina cable cars have built the popular flower hiking trail, where you will find the various plants and geological conditions depicted on the high trail and described on information boards.
The information boards are constantly put up and replaced according to the current flowering season. This ensures that you can admire the flowers directly in nature right next to the description.
On the way on the flower hiking nature trail:
Regular guided tours of the Faschina mountain kingdom take place every Tuesday and Saturday with Günter Bischof from Damüls (project manager of the flower nature trail). The meeting point is the Stafelalpbahn valley station at 9.40 am. Guests of BERGaktiv partners take part in the flower walk free of charge. Registration with BERGaktiv by 9 p.m. the day before.
