Lingenau – hiking and listening to stories
Stories from old and young. All personal, all true. To be heard as sound recordings at 28 "Erzählbänkle". Go ahead. And then: take a seat. Let yourself be told about the country and its people.
On 4 routes there are sound recordings of people from Lingenau who tell their story about the place where they are. They are stories of beekeeping, homesickness and celebrations. Stories of expeditions, of survival and falling in love. Of being an elder and talking with hands and feet. Of everyday worries and the joys of life.
The stories are available in both dialect and German versions.
Storytellers:
The 37 storytellers all live in Lingenau. The youngest is 8, the oldest is 90 years old. And then there are 9 young people aged between 13 and 15, from different places in the Bregenzerwald, who all go to the music secondary school in Lingenau. They have contributed music for the Rain & Gschwend route and tell us why.
